The 100 Mile Save Cancer Challenge Benefeciaries

Our 100 Mile Save Cancer Challenge has selected four U.S. based 501c3 cancer-research focused nonprofits for participants to raise money for. All of these nonprofits passed our vetting process (see "How We Choose Nonprofits" below for more information) and are fighting hard to make up the cancer research funding gap created by the Trump administration and their defunding of the National Institutes of Health.
Even though Hashtag Hustle has vetted these organizations through our own criteria, suggesting them as organizations to raise money for does not constituent an endorsement and Hashtag Hustle is not liable for use of the funds raised.  Participants are encouraged to do their own research and choose nonprofits only they are comfortable with.

How We Choose Nonprofits

Each Hashtag Hustle challenge event is chosen to impact a cause that's important to the people likely to take on that challenge.  When registering for a challenge, participants are able to choose to raise money for a vetted, verified US based nonprofit.  We choose our nonprofit partners based on three criteria:

1. Impact - Does this nonprofit have a significant impact to the population it serves?  Our team reviews the work done by these organizations to qualitatively and quantitatively measure their impact.

2. Responsibility - Is this organization taking their commitment to the community seriously and do they use the funds to serve that community in a responsible way?  We do not all participants to support organizations who promote hate, intolerance or violence of any kind.  This includes organizations who limit a woman's right to choose, deny or limit the human experience of those in the LGBTQ+ community or promote the proliferation of firearms.

3. Regulation - All organizations must be registered 501c3 nonprofits in good standing with the IRS and each state regulatory agency.
